You are invited to participate in the NYC Tap Project Water Walk 2008, a one-mile walk for young people (all ages) and their families, to help raise awareness for children worldwide who suffer from the lack of readily available clean water. The walk, which kicks off Worldwide Water Week, takes place this Saturday, March 15th at 10:00 AM, at Manhattan's Riverside Park (W. 83rd St.). Arrive early if you have not already registered. Click the flyer for more info. Registration and sponsorship forms are available here; just $1 allows UNICEF to provide 40 liters of safe drinking water, which is a 40-day supply for one child.
