826NYC in Park Slope has announced that this year's "REVENGE OF THE BOOK EATERS," Tuesday, October 7th at 8 PM, will also feature TUNDE ADEBIMPE & KYP MALONE (from TV on the Radio!), BOBBY CANNAVALE, and PARKER POSEY.
That makes this year's lineup quite a doozy:

New songs by DEPARTMENT OF EAGLES (members of Grizzly Bear).
Talking from DAVE EGGERS and KYP MALONE.
A new play by JONATHAN FRANZEN*, read by BOBBY CANNAVALE, PATRICIA CLARKSON, PARKER POSEY, TUNDE ADEBIMPE, and the author.
A duet with THAO NGUYEN and ZACH ROGUE.
Jokes by host (and Daily Show correspondent) JOHN OLIVER.
And a very special appearance by PAUL SIMON.
This event, named after a story by an 826NYC student, is now a much-heralded annual show, started in 2006. All money raised goes to 826NYC's free programming for children. Get tickets here.
