Letter from Melanie Regarding PS 29 Community Support

Dear PS 29 Families,

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you. The strength and profound bond of our PS 29 family is ever so clear as we cope with the tragic loss of our beloved Zander Toulouse.

This afternoon members of our PS 29 community attended Zander’s funeral service. Many of us have expressed the need to talk, to console one another and to grieve together. Please know that tomorrow morning, following our Third Grade Breakfast, parents and caregivers are invited to meet with our support staff in the Staff Resource Center (318). They will be available throughout the day.

It goes without saying that our teachers and our support staff are working closely together with one another and with students in response to their changing needs. Please do not hesitate to contact us in the challenging days ahead.

We are so grateful for your amazing involvement and we thank you for your continued kindness, in both word and deed.
