PS 29 2008 CANDY, GIFTS & MAGAZINE SALE

Dear PS 29 Families,
Welcome to the new school year at PS 29! My name is Margaret Halliday and I am a third grade parent. I will be coordinating the PS 29 2008 Annual Candy, Gift & Magazines Sale. This wonderful fundraising event raises significant sums each year, allowing the PTA to enhance our children's learning environment here at PS 29. The merchandise ranges from candy and wrapping paper to magazine subscriptions (both new and renewals) and household gift items.
Many families use this sale to jumpstart their holiday shopping — magazine subscriptions are great gifts! Increasingly, families are ordering online. The online service, accessed by clicking the link above, allows out-of-town friends and relatives to place their own orders, at their convenience, and to receive their items directly and efficiently. 47% of all sales go directly to P.S. 29!
There are no school assemblies to publicize the candy sale to PS 29 students. If you would like your child to participate in the sale, please review the material with him/her and remember, for safety purposes, students should only sell to family, friends and neighbors with whom you are familiar, not door-to-door. In many cases, it's the parents who do the selling — at work, among friends and extended family.
Any and all support is greatly appreciated. PS 29 is a great school because of all the dedication, hard work and support of its staff and parents!!
