Among the very special items at this year's auction will be this well-known image of the Red Hot Chile Peppers, a framed original photograph by Brian Moghadam, renowned for his portraits of Gnarls Barkley, Madonna, Radiohead, Coldplay and countless others. Brian Moghadam began his career in photography working for his college newspaper in San Diego. He covered the music scene photographing bands like the Black Eyed Peas, Sting, Wyclef, and the Foo Fighters. He moved back to Los Angeles after graduating and began approaching record labels and managers in search of new photo jobs. He began photographing for a major photo agency in LA, the Berliner Agency, and his work has been seen in Rolling Stone, Spin, Blender, and the New York Times. Brian now lives in New York and continues his work with the music industry.
