For tonight's auction, National Dance Institute is generously offering an enrollment in the May 2008 Arts Encounter, a collaborative workshop of dance, music and the visual arts. During the workshop, which takes place May 12-15, from 4:00-5:30 PM, children learn energetic dance steps drawn from NDI’s unique pedagogy, study music and rhythm, and design and make their own costumes for a culminating performance. These workshops, for ages 5-7, are ordinarily sold out! NDI was founded in 1976 by New York City Ballet principal dancer Jacques d’Amboise. Value: $120!
