The PS 29 community gave incredibly generously to this year's City Harvest food drive!! The donations, picked up yesterday afternoon, weighed in at an extraordinary 2,000 pounds — double last year's success! To get an idea of how significant the PS 29 effort is for a single school, consider that last year NYC schools contributed a total of 60,000 pounds of food via City Harvest. A huge thanks to everyone for participating and giving so much to help hungry citizens of New York!!
