The party last week at Bocca Lupo, PS 29: Uncork'd for a Cause, raised an unprecedented $6,000 for learning materials and supplies! Staff members, teachers, parents, friends and neighbors poured into the restaurant to lift a glass for the school. The event was fabulously chaired by Mónica Gutiérrez-Kirwan, who worked with a wonderful team of volunteers.
A big thank-you goes to parent Jeff Lederman for graciously hosting the event - now in its third year - and parent Donna Faircloth for donating the John Varvatos leather weekend bags for a wonderfully successful raffle. Winners were parent Emily Cohen and Coleen Cahill, a Carroll Gardens supporter of the PS 29 community.
